The Online renewal is only appicable to those Pionair members that are not on the Air Canada Payroll for their pension each month. These are typically Pionair members who either did not complete sufficient years of service to receive an Air Canada pension or whose eligibility to join the Pionairs originated from another airline rather than Air Canada.
